About WIAA Foundation
Mission Statement
Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association Foundation, Inc. exists to enhance, support and collaborate with education-based athletics of Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association (WIAA) member schools and their student athletes by raising funds for grants, programs, and scholarships as well as offering related resources and activities.
Purpose
The Foundation's primary activity is to fundraise and otherwise receive contributions in order to distribute them for educational and charitable purposes. Specifically, the Foundation will receive donations for the benefit of athletic programs at WIAA member schools and their student athletes. The Foundation will grant funds to member schools to expand athletic activities and to provide support and enhanced risk minimization for student athletes in the state of Wisconsin. The Foundation may also undertake educational offerings, such as hosting trainings for referees, to expand the base of qualified officials in the state of Wisconsin and to enhance student athlete safety.

Article I - Purpose
Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association Foundation, Inc. (the “Corporation”) is created and shall be operated exclusively to enhance, support and collaborate with education- based athletics of Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association (“WIAA”) member schools and their student athletes by raising funds for grants, programs, and scholarships as well as offering related resources and activities, and at all times shall operate consistent with the requirements of 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 (the “Code”).
Article II - Board of Directors
The management, control and operation of the affairs and properties of the Corporation are vested in the board of directors of the Corporation (the "Board"). The Board may adopt such rules and regulations for the conduct of business as deemed advisable and may in the execution of the powers granted, delegate certain authority and responsibility to agents of the Corporation.
